BRAD NYCEK COMPLETES FOURSLIDE SETTER APPRENTICESHIP

Clips & Clamps Industries’ (CCI) Brad Nycek has completed his Fourslide Setter Apprentice Program, the classroom portion of which was fulfilled at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan.

Brad was hired by CCI in 2010 as a Production Operator in Fabrication & Assembly Department before transferring to Fourslide Department and beginning his apprenticeship classes and on-the-job training.

His Department of Labor apprenticeship certification underscores CCI’s commitment to continuous improvement – including the training of employees. Currently, five workers are participating three different apprenticeship programs (Tool & Die, Fourslide Setting, and Wireform), and two others are set to begin this year. In total, that’s 12% of the organization’s workforce.

“Our strong commitment to training helps us meet customer product-design needs,” said Jeff Aznavorian, Vice President and General Manager of Clips & Clamps Industries. “As we develop new parts for clients, they benefit from the higher degree of expertise on our manufacturing floor, which supports value-added problem solving.”
